In addition to staffing the Helpline/2-1-1 and Reassurance, CONTACT Chattahoochee Valley, Inc. also needs volunteers to assist with office work, the Human Resources Directory, and to provide leadership throughout the organization. Being a CONTACT volunteer is a way to help your community and is a deeply rewarding experience.
Contribute
It has been said, "in a world obsessed by talk and noise, CONTACT offers a space for attentive listening and affirming silence - a much needed ministry," where the lonely can find companionship, the victimized can find compassion and the bereaved can find comfort. Contributions from groups, businesses, churches or individuals are needed to help meet operational expenses. Donations of any amount would be appreciated. Please email us for more information.
Trusts
Gifts to the CONTACT Endowment Trust are also welcome. The funds are held in Trust and the interest earned is used to pay CONTACT's operational expenses. This trust would be ideal for someone to consider at the time of death of a friend or loved one should the family of the deceased prefer contributions to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
